Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Use details and examples to explain your answer. All children should be required to learn a second language in school.

TPO10口语Task2参考答案(范文模板)：

I agree that all children should be required to learn a second language in school because first of all, it will help children to become more culturally diverse with people from other countries.

I learned Japanese after high school and ended up living in Japan for two years. That experience helped me to grow and become more compassionate to people from other countries.

Secondly, studies have proven that bilingual people are smarter and learn faster. Before I knew Japanese, it took me a long time to learn anything, but after two years of hard work and becoming fluent in Japanese, I seem to pick things upquicker and learn at a faster rate.

That’s why I think that all children should be required to learn a second language.
